Born and raised on a large mixed farm operation in Punnichy, Saskatchewan comprised of Purebred Polled Herefords and grains and oilseeds. I was an active 4-H member for 12 years. Went to school to grade 8 in Punnichy, then took grades 9 -11 at St. Vladimir College in Roblin, MB and graduated from grade 12 at Holy Cross High School in Saskatoon. I attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated from the School of Agriculture with major in Farm Business Management. My career started with the Royal Bank in 1981 until 2001 (20 years). During this time I was in Yorkton, Esterhazy, Kindersley, Young and Balcarres, SK. I then was adventurous and accepted a move to Cambridge Bay, Nunavut (3 years), Grande Prairie and Stettler. I then moved to Westlock with ATB Financial in 2001 until 2008 (7 years). Left banking to take on a General Manager position with Westlock Ford/RV Sales Ltd. from 2008 to 2011 (3 years). Left automotive and RV business and returned to banking with TD Canada Trust in Westlock and Barrhead (3 years). I left banking and to take a position as an Accounting Technician with Gil Dubrule, CMA accounting for 1+ year before joining the FAA in June 2015. I currently reside in Westlock. I am married to Patti (Registered Nurse) for 35 years and have 3 children; Chris (CMA, Accountant with Fountain Tire) and daughter-in-law Alix, Evan (Ex-Golf Pro, now Gasfitter with United Rentals) and Katie (Chef/Baker at Chartier in Beaumont). Grandpa to 2 lovely twin grandchildren (Quinn and Hudson). I am a passionate hockey person, Past President and General Manager/Coach of the Senior AA hockey team in Westlock the Westlock AA Warriors for 6 years, winning a league Championship in 2015. I have been a volunteer with Hockey Alberta and 4-H. I enjoy the outdoors, golfing, travelling, hockey, camping, curling, cattle business, gardening and cooking.
