I was born and raised on a farm outside of Dauphin Manitoba, my family raised Charolais cross Simental cattle, chickens, donkeys and some crop. During my younger years I went to a Ukrainian bilingual school for elementary and middle school and then to an English High school. My best memories growing up was working with the cattle with my father. After high school I continued my education and received my BA diploma with Assiniboine Community College majoring in accounting and finance. After college I started working at TD Canada Trust in a small town in northern Manitoba, Swan River as a Small Business Advisor and Agriculture Service Representative. When I was working at the TD I was transferred to Barrhead to do the same position and stayed in the banking industry for a couple years. It is here that I met my husband in Barrhead. After the TD I took a position at Agritrac Equipment in Westlock as their Senior Accountant and managed the accounting department for all 3 locations, unfortunately Agritrac was bought out by Rocky Mountain Equipment and my position moved to their head office and I was not wanting to leave my new home. I then went back to doing what I majored in and took a position within an accounting firm in Barrhead up until having our 2 wonderful children Ruger and Lena.
If my days are not spent at the Feeder Associations of Alberta you can find us on our trapline up by Swan Hills, Hunting, Fishing, quading, camping or in my garden.
